Overview

This website is operated by Thruology. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Thruology. By visiting this site or buying something from us, you agree to the terms set out below.

These terms cover the website and the physical products sold through it. Use of the Thruology mobile app is governed by the terms you accept inside the app.

What our products are, and are not

Thruology kits and the Thruology app are self guided tools for working through a hard chapter. They are not medical care, not psychotherapy, not counselling, and not a substitute for any of those. Nothing we sell diagnoses or treats any condition, and nothing in a kit or in the app should be read as professional advice about your particular situation.

If you are struggling, please talk to a doctor or a licensed mental health professional. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the United States to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911.

Ordering

We may refuse or cancel any order. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full. Prices and product descriptions can change without notice. We do our best to show colours and materials accurately, but a screen is a screen.

By placing an order you confirm that the payment method is yours and that the information you give us is accurate.

Age

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from this site.

Returns and shipping

Our refund policy and our shipping policy form part of these terms.

App access included with a kit

Each kit includes a code for three months of access to the Thruology app. Codes are for one account, are not transferable once redeemed, have no cash value, and expire 12 months after purchase if unredeemed. We may change what is included in the app over time.

Your content

If you post anything in the Thruology community, you keep ownership of it and you give us permission to display it inside the service. Do not post anything that is unlawful, abusive, or that shares private information about another person. We can remove content and close accounts that break this.

Intellectual property

The text, designs, card decks, workbooks, illustrations, logos and software that make up Thruology belong to us. You are welcome to use what you buy, personally, for as long as you like. You may not reproduce, resell or redistribute our materials, or use them in a commercial or group setting, without written permission. Partner and bulk licensing exists for exactly that, and you can ask us about it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Thruology is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, our products or the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one in force, and the date below tells you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States.
